1 Peter 2:9 NKJV
But you [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

THE CHOSEN
We have been set apart to show others the goodness of God. He has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Many are invited but few are chosen. This implies that you, the chosen one is precious and honoured in God's sight. He knows you by name and you are a holy, dedicated, and consecrated priest of God meant to offer spiritual sacrifices to God.

The purpose of you being chosen is to go and produce lasting fruit. *God chose you before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless before his sight* .

Child of God, you are a soldier of Christ. Do not entangle yourself in civilian affairs instead try to satisfy and please your commander Christ, the hope of glory..

Prayer
Father I thank you for choosing me and making me distinct,set apart for your glory. Help me to reveal you, the hope of glory to everyone in Jesus name. Amen

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD In this portion of scripture, Jesus is telling his disciples that they have to keep His commandments then by that is when He will ask God the Father to send them the helper, that will abide with them forever. Necessity Of Fasting

NECESSITY OF FASTING In the book of Mathew 9:14-15,we realize that the groom left only when he spent 3 days in the grave. We all believe in His resurrection and the bible clearly tells us that when we received Him He begun to dwell in us, in other words the bridegroom is with us still. So why then do we fast?? Many christians have it on their minds that it's because they fast that they receive results simply because they received results after some serious days, weeks, months, or even years of fasting, this is a very inconsistent way to go about fasting because if you think that what Jesus did on the cross is not enough, then how much more is your fasting insufficient?? , you can't help God by fasting.
