IMITATING CHRIST THROUGH YOU

1 Timothy 4:12 MSG
And don't let anyone put you down because you're young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity.

In yesterday's devotional, we learnt that By men imitating you (doing as you do, following your step, way of speech, and manner of life), they are supposed to reach Christ. 

To imitate can mean to follow after another's way of doing things or pattern of life.
This means that even before we stand to tell them to do, or even after, they can see it from us.

In our theme verse, Paul tells Timothy to teach with his life, by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity.
In other words His life be an example of the things he wants them to learn.

When we live a Christ like life, it will be easy for men to believe and trust you. If we are truly imitating Christ, there will be no worry about those imitating you because by so they actually imitate Christ.

JOT OF VERACITY

Father I thank you for this word, I pray that you help me to live a life worthy of your glory that whoever imitates me shall reach You in Jesus name... Amen

Necessity Of Fasting

NECESSITY OF FASTING In the book of Mathew 9:14-15,we realize that the groom left only when he spent 3 days in the grave. We all believe in His resurrection and the bible clearly tells us that when we received Him He begun to dwell in us, in other words the bridegroom is with us still. So why then do we fast?? Many christians have it on their minds that it's because they fast that they receive results simply because they received results after some serious days, weeks, months, or even years of fasting, this is a very inconsistent way to go about fasting because if you think that what Jesus did on the cross is not enough, then how much more is your fasting insufficient?? , you can't help God by fasting.
