Luke 12:48 KJV
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
In our previous devotional yesterday, we learnt that we have received the ministry of reconciliation which is also compared as the greater ministry than that of condemnation because the letter kills but the Spirit gives life and we have the ministry of the Spirit.
After receiving such a glorious ministry, we can't settle for less until all people come to the full knowledge of Christ
But this requires us to become faithful stewards because we are being given and committed with much which position us to be required much.
To be faithful is not all about being available, neither just being effective but as the Word is double edged, so being faithful.
Faithfulness takes the reconciliation of being available to be used of God; where you are conscious that the sufficient is not of you but of God and being effective where your awakened to the power in you which resurrected Jesus from the cross.
A faithful steward is one who's awakened to who he is in Christ and his dependability isn't on what he can do but instead to God. His like a man with fire in his bones, where he can't just stay silent but instead to talk about what he saw in God Jer 20:9, the Word on his heart made him vulnerable to the Holy Spirit
JOT OF VERACITY
A faithful steward is one who's bounded in the spirit by the love of God because Love constrains and his heart is vulnerable to the Holy Spirit because of the word in his heart.
