John 14:15-16 NKJV
"If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever
THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD
In this portion of scripture, Jesus is telling his disciples that they have to keep His commandments then by that is when He will ask God the Father to send them the helper, that will abide with them forever.
Mark 12:30 - 31 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
There are many commandments that were given to the children of Israel but then we see Jesus Christ The Son of God enlightening us in this part of scripture that there is no other commandment greater than these that are speaking about the Love of God. Hallelujah
This literally bringing it up that when you have the Love of God within you, you have encompassed all the other commandments within these.
This was because the law/commandments alone could not bring man to salvation so God opted for the law of love that speaks to men regardless of there position in the spirit
This is how the Gentiles get into this commonwealth of Israel because of how God's love is reckless; he does not consider any consequences of his actions regarding to his own safety, comfort or wellbeing.
NUGGET
This reckless love is the person of God that we have been called to as the greatest commandment from the Lord. All you need to do is to accept, believe and yield to the person of the Holy Spirit to lead you through all it's manifold facets. Hallelujah
