WALKING WORTHY OF CALLING

Ephesians 4:1 AMP
I THEREFORE, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the [divine] calling to which you have been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God's service,

We know that when we accept Christ, we are made new creatures. The old is gone and we are all together introduced to a new life, in other words a new living is given to us.

Paul in our theme verse instructs the Ephesians to walk in a way worthy of the calling that they have been called. 
This means carrying ourselves in ways that are approved by the Lord, a way that glorifies the Master.

We are the light to the world, through our lives, men see Christ.
In our day today engagements, our ways of action, speech and conduct ought to reveal Christ to men. This is why we have to live worthy of the calling.

Our way of living should testify to the new life that we have received. It's bad if our ways do not agree with what we have been called. 
We are called to be example to both to the world and to other believers so we should live right.

In 1Timothy 4:12, Paul tells Timothy  to be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. This is expected of us to reveal Christ in our ways.

JOT OF VERACITU
Our way of living should testify to the new life that we have received. It's bad if our ways do not agree with what we have been called.

PRAYER
I thank you Lord for your word. I thank you for I have been called by you to show forth your glory an I walk in ways worthy to this calling daily in Jesus name... Amen

Necessity Of Fasting

NECESSITY OF FASTING In the book of Mathew 9:14-15,we realize that the groom left only when he spent 3 days in the grave. We all believe in His resurrection and the bible clearly tells us that when we received Him He begun to dwell in us, in other words the bridegroom is with us still. So why then do we fast?? Many christians have it on their minds that it's because they fast that they receive results simply because they received results after some serious days, weeks, months, or even years of fasting, this is a very inconsistent way to go about fasting because if you think that what Jesus did on the cross is not enough, then how much more is your fasting insufficient?? , you can't help God by fasting.
