OUR REFUGE

Psalms 46:1 NKJV
God [is] our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

A refuge is a place of safety and protection. It is a shelter or sanctuary where we can find comfort, solace, and peace, one we can turn to in times of trouble and uncertainty. 

The psalmist states clearly tells us what the refuge is. He knows it very well and in several portions of scripture, he affirms this with strong assurance about it. 

There is a need for us to know exactly where our refuge is before any circumstances hit.
The Lord God is surely our refuge, but the question is how well do you know this. 

A refuge is not established at the time of trouble, it is done before, at that time, it provides protection and safety to him who runs into.
Nations have safe places for refuge in case of threat by bombings, these are built and well known by the people. 

 Without knowing your refuge, you are as one without, when challenges hit, you will suffer greater loss and may die like a mere man.

The Lord is our sure source of strength and protection, He invites us to come to Him, to find rest and peace in His presence, and to take refuge in His unfailing love and care, This we should well Know now so that we do not suffer when the enemy attacks.

JOT OF VERACITY 
Without knowing your refuge, you are as one without, when challenges hit, you will suffer greater loss and may die like a mere man.

Father I thank you for the word, You are my refuge and to you will I always turn, Help me to know you more and more in Jesus Name... Amen.
