2 Corinthians 5:14 AMP
For the love of Christ controls and urges and impels us, because we are of the opinion and conviction that [if] One died for all, then all died;

   There are different types of power that's why you find scriptures like Heb 6:5 talking about powers plural but I want us to understand that the greatest among all these powers is Love. This is proven in John 3:6 whereby it was Love which compelled God to give us what He treasures most.

People ask us why we do some things for God for example going for missions just to testify of our Lord and without any pay but they just don't know that it's our love towards Him

  Love is the compelling power of God which nurtures us to carry the full personality of Christ. And this causes us to start feeling after Him.
That feel after constrains and compels us to act on the behalf of Christ. You start to think and do things as Christ would have reacted.

          That's why Ap Paul makes a statement in the book of Acts that he goes to jerusalem bound in the spirit. He wasn't bound because of the prophecy but the Love of Christ had made him vulnerable for God. He didn't care what the prophet had said because Love had already made him a prisoner of Christ.

It's that love in our hearts for Christ which causes us or puts on us a necessity to do everything, go anywhere for Christ because He dwells in us through faith

JOT OF VERACITY
Love is the compelling power of God which nurtures us to carry the full personality of Christ
