THE WISE MAN

Matthew 7:24-25 NKJV
So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

THE WISE MAN
The bible says Heaven and earth will pass away but His word forever remains. This word framed the foundations of the earth and all there is, its powerful, active and quick, able to accomplish all. 

We see in our theme scripture Jesus teaching us on the words relation to building a strong house by a wise/sensible person, one who hears His words and does them. 

Jesus invites us to not only listen to His teachings, but also to put them into action. It's not enough to simply hear the Word of God; we must also apply it to our lives. The foundation upon which we build our lives is crucial, for it determines the strength and stability of our faith in storm. 

By acting on His teachings and aligning our lives with His Word, we establish a firm foundation for our faith. When we face the storms of life, rooted in Christ, we remain steadfast and unshaken. 

The next verses show of those who do not have a solid foundation, who only heard and acted not, they are like a house built on sand, easily toppled by the winds and waves, and great is the fall. 

Let us strive to not only hear the word, but to put it into practice. 
Let us build our lives on the firm foundation of the Word. 
May our life be anchored in the truth of God's Word, and may we experience the strength and security that comes from walking in obedience to Him.

GOLDEN NUGGET
Let us strive to not only hear the word, but to put it into practice. 
Let us build our lives on the firm foundation of the Word, for then we will stand even in the days of storm.

Necessity Of Fasting

NECESSITY OF FASTING In the book of Mathew 9:14-15,we realize that the groom left only when he spent 3 days in the grave. We all believe in His resurrection and the bible clearly tells us that when we received Him He begun to dwell in us, in other words the bridegroom is with us still. So why then do we fast?? Many christians have it on their minds that it's because they fast that they receive results simply because they received results after some serious days, weeks, months, or even years of fasting, this is a very inconsistent way to go about fasting because if you think that what Jesus did on the cross is not enough, then how much more is your fasting insufficient?? , you can't help God by fasting.
