I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

John 8:12 AMP
Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life. 

I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

By the time Jesus was talking to His disciples, He had not yet been delivered to the hands of the Jews for crucifixion. This means He had not yet won the hearts of men from eternity.

Jesus therefore says '"He who follows me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life"'. It's not until He died on the cross and conquered death that He was able to shine in the deepest parts of darkness.

After His resurrection, He tells us that I am the resurrection and the Life because this life has been tested from death of the Son of God. Therefore He is the Light that gives life to men. But then Christ asks us to be in him as the branches and bear fruit.

This means when we accept Christ, We become the Light of the world and are the Resurrection and the Life of this world. John.9.5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." (nkjv)

Golden Nugget 
I am the light of this world because I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and savior. I shine in the darkness and give Life to Men.

Prayer
Lord I thank you for making me the light of this world, I pray that you make my light to shine brighter and brighter to bring more men to your knowledge as I extinguish this darkness in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen

Necessity Of Fasting

NECESSITY OF FASTING In the book of Mathew 9:14-15,we realize that the groom left only when he spent 3 days in the grave. We all believe in His resurrection and the bible clearly tells us that when we received Him He begun to dwell in us, in other words the bridegroom is with us still. So why then do we fast?? Many christians have it on their minds that it's because they fast that they receive results simply because they received results after some serious days, weeks, months, or even years of fasting, this is a very inconsistent way to go about fasting because if you think that what Jesus did on the cross is not enough, then how much more is your fasting insufficient?? , you can't help God by fasting.
