BEARING FRUIT

John 15:16
" You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."NKJV

BEARING FRUIT
Jesus in the book of Matthew curses the fig tree because it was fruitless. He goes ahead to tell us in the above scripture that He chose us to go and bear fruit.

However,claiming that we are Christians but when we are without fruit is simply wrong for a curse lies on the one who refuses to do the Work of the Lord.

As we move on with our daily lives,let us produce results of our salvation. Be fruitful and multiply,fill the earth and subdue it.

What shows that we are Christ's followers is actually the results that we produce for we are written epistles that are read by everyone. And When the Oil(the Holy Spirit) is still in your lamp(life), you will keep burning(bearing fruit).

Father thank you for today's Word. Please help me abide in you so that I bear fruit that will glorify you Lord. Amen.

Necessity Of Fasting

NECESSITY OF FASTING In the book of Mathew 9:14-15,we realize that the groom left only when he spent 3 days in the grave. We all believe in His resurrection and the bible clearly tells us that when we received Him He begun to dwell in us, in other words the bridegroom is with us still. So why then do we fast?? Many christians have it on their minds that it's because they fast that they receive results simply because they received results after some serious days, weeks, months, or even years of fasting, this is a very inconsistent way to go about fasting because if you think that what Jesus did on the cross is not enough, then how much more is your fasting insufficient?? , you can't help God by fasting.
