THE ESSENCE OF ROTATION Elgon Bible Study Department Wednesday, 31st May 2023 Ecclesiastes 1:5 KJV The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.       Prophetically the time dimension is circular where events happens to move in a certain cyclic rotation causing the saying that history repeats itself. It can only be what it was if it has come back to the same point of rotation    A man can miss out the season of his manifestation but if this man knows how the principal of times and seasons works, he will arise again.         The reason why the righteous man can fall seven times and then arise again it's because the Gospel is light. CROWNED WITH LOVE AND MERCY Bible Study Department Tuesday, 30th May 2023 Psalm 103:4 KJV Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; In the world where we have become aliens John 17:14, we need something as a covering from the cares of this world. In the first letter of Ap John, he speaks about what's in the world and he says that For all that [is] in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.         Meaning that the world is in scarcity of Love because where there's lust there is no Love. To rejoice is a call to joy and often used as a salutation. Sometimes, Jesus would walk into a room and immediately call people to joy. Joy is more than just happiness.  In all circumstances, regardless of what is taking place on the outside, we ought to rejoice always in the Lord. This rejoicing comes because of the assurance that we have in Christ, about what He has said and promised. BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT Wednesday 24th May 2023 Bible study department Acts 27:22 NLT But take courage! None of you will lose your lives, even though the ship will go down. We see in this portion of scripture that men are on a voyage to Rome and among them is Ap. Paul.  The seas get turbulent along the way and the ship is out of control. A lot is tried to keep up but not much has improved actually it worsened to the point in verse 20 that   _“….all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.”_ In verse 22, Paul stands up amidst them and casts hope to them after all hope had been given up.  He gives them assurance that none of them was to die no matter what happened to the ship in which they sailed. MOVING OUT OF THE USUAL Elgon Bible Study Department Saturday, 20 May 2023 1 KINGS 3:3 NKJV  And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places. It's wisdom not to remove the ancient landmarks but it's also not expedient to stop and settle at what was already accomplished. In our theme scripture we see King Solomon walking in the statutes of his father but he went an extra mile and he did something which was not done by David. Exodus 19:5 KJV Now, therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for the earth (is) mine (KJV) This comes in a time when God was instructing Moses to convey his message to the children of Israel, and he went ahead to attach a promise to it once they avail obedience to his instructions. What is obedience?
